"Hanging" After Class

Katie followed Reed to a Coffee Shop. She did not know this town well, and only knew the way to a hotel which she was staying at and the DWMA. Which was a little sad. She was still in her black hooded jacket, hood pulled up.

I walk into the coffee shop and go up to the cashier, a moment later receiving an ice latte. I then walk towards Katie. "Hey, Academy pupils get everything free." I smile. "What's your name?"

Nightmare had just walked in. As he did so, he sat at a window and pulled down the shades after getting some black coffee.
"Yeah, what is your name?" I ask, realizing I never caught her name.

"Katlin Visce..." She mumbles. "O-or... Katie..."

[Nope.]

"That's a nice name." I say, then sit at a table.

"Um..." She mutters. This was the second time someone complemented her name. She recalls others calling her an "emo brat." She nodded slightly. "T-thanks..." She looked around for a dark table to sit at.

Shin storms into the coffee shop angry. "Hey you emo brat! How're you gonna ask to go to the coffee shop with me the walk off?"

Katie pivots swiftly and looks at Shin, Her eyes full of horror. She breathes slowly in an effort to calm down. Heisn'ttalkingtome. Heisn'ttalkingtome. Heisn'ttalkingtome...

Shin notices the new kid freaking out. "Oh sorry not you. I'm talking to the fake Sasuke Uchiha over there." Shin looks at Nightmare and yells. "HEY I KNOW YOU HERE ME!"

"Oh.. um... okay..." She calms down a little. Hm. So... "Nightmare..." Seems a little... similar to.. me...?

I stand up and walk over to Shin, then look him in the eyes, squinting slightly. "You are very short tempered." I Stop squinting. "Now cool down." I say, as I take an ice cube from my coffee and flick it at Shin.

Shin catches the ice cube, and looks at Arc. "Sigh do you really wanna do this cause im just trying to get a coffee. But if you want your ass kicked..." Shins eyes start to glow red and he charges up a soul menace in his right hand. "We can take it outside."

[Nope.]

"No thanks." I say, turn, walk to my table and take a sip of coffee. "I was just looking to drink my coffee in peace, till you decided to come barging in and shouting."

Shin sneers at Arc and points at Nightmare. "Then blame Darkrai over there not me. Shit."

Katie, in an effort to ignore the fighting, walks up to the counter and gets a glass of ice water, she then proceeds to sit at a shaded table in the back.

"He made me see Smile.jpg earlier." I say, then point at him. "I wasn't exactly a happy bunny, but I can keep my anger under a lid."

"did i ask about you personality?" Shin walks away and goes to the counter. "Gimme the usual." Shin is handed an espresso and walks over to the table that Nightmare is sitting at.

"No, but I told you anyway." I say.

"I am not emo, I just am allergic to the sun, I found that out when I turned eight. Gave that man another way to hurt me," I say, snarling at that words.
"I totally for got to get coffee!" I express, getting an iced mocha, "That is better."

I look at Nightmare. "Really?" I say, as I shoot the strings holding up the blinds at Nightmares window. "Revenge!" I start laughing, then fall back on my chair.

I quickly hide under the table, "Why, why?" I ask, as I feel my mind about to snap, "Please put the blinds back up, my first stage is about to be passed!"

"That's for what you did back in class!" I say, as I walk over to the window and tie the blinds back up.

"That? I was just curious to see how people would react, plus if I ever talk about That Man, you should keep your distance. It is the thing that turned me into what I am," I say, shaking from pain and from memories.
