"He only thought about it, if he had shone a torch on me, I would have been in my final form holding his corpse right now," I say, taking a sip of coffee. "Also, as someone else who hates light, if you need any help, just ask."

A confused Shin looks at Katie. "So you're looking for ways to take us out by watching us fight?" Shin smiles. "Nice. A person who doesn't just fight around here."

"Sounds like Raven before the accident," I say darkly.

"Well he's not really built for up front fighting. he's a damn sniper rifle...AND how the hell would you know? You got here not even a week after it happened."

"Y-yes... I picked up... different s-styles..." Katie says. "I-I'm mainly good... at s-sneak attacks..." She looks at Nightmare. "Oh... that.. um.. sounds b-bad..."

"For one, I can feel people's emotions, I can sense how they are. So of course I would know that Raven makes a lot of plans. And also, it doesn't sound bad, it sounds smart," I say.

"So like is there anything you cant do besides go out in the light?"

"I cannot torture people physically. If I did, my body would shut itself down and I would return to how I was before I found out my powers," I say.

"S-so... you hate l-light also...?" Katie questions

"So you have to always go for the kill? That's lame." Shin takes a sip of his coffee.

[Weird Tomatoes]

"I can only die if I am in the sunlight, that is why I hate it. It burns my skin off, it is the only thing that will be able to kill me," I say, "also, notice how I only fight when something bad happens to me? That is why. Also, I can be used as a tool for torture."

"That's lame too."

[Weird Tomatoes]

"The only reason I become a monster is because of torture, that is why I will never make more. If I tried, the monster within me could also gain full control, I didn't want to think of that possibility," I say, looking darkly at the ground.

Shin looks at Nightmare. "Stop pitying yourself. If it tries to take over you kick its ass. And if you can't i will. Then I'll kick your ass."

"I would rather just let it be, it is the source of most of my powers, also it makes things so much fun!" I say, returning to my normal attitude.

"LAME!" Shin stands up. "Well I'm outta here see you weirdos later."

"I will be hear for awhile longer, I had my fair share of sunlight for today," I say.

"Ight then...partner." Shin leaves the coffee shop.

"Partner? I like the sound of that!" I say, smiling.

"I... t-think I'll go as.. well... Um... h-have a good n-night..." Katie waves as she leaves the shop and heads toward the hotel she was staying at.

"Oh well, I will just try and survive the light for awhile, see ya later!" I say, covering myself with my umbrella again, heading for a shady spot.

[Nope.]

I stand up from my seat, having drunk my coffee. "Talking of Raven... Just made me sad." I stand up and put a $10 note on the counter. "Buy some filler for the bullet hole and a new set of blinds." I say, then walk out.

"Well, I guess I better head home then," I say, walking out the door.
