Finding Hughes

Caroline was slightly limping around Death City, looking for her weapon Hughes. She ran a hand through her hair, careful not to touch her back. She saw him, and started to run to him, almost falling on her face. "HUGHES!!" She cheered.

I caught her in my arms. "Ca-Caroline?! What happened!?" I ask.

I laughed, kissing him sweetly. "Im fine, no worries!"  I giggled, ruffling his hair.

"You- your back!" I exclaim.

I smile and hold his hands. "Im fine, promise."

"Who did it?" A stern look appeared on my face.

"I... i dont know." I say quietly, kissing him deeply, wanting to see if he was real

Just then, wires shot out of my back and wrapped around Caroline.

"What were you doing with him?!" I screamed angrily at her. "What were you doing with the assassin?!" I roared.

I cried out painfully, my back spilling blood again. "I was asking who killed my parents!! I asked him why he was an assassin in the first place..." I said softly, gently placing my hand on his cheek. "I tried getting him out of his clan. They were going to punish him otherwise. Because of that... I did something horrible. Please punish me as much as you please." I whispered, my breath slowing down, a pool of blood flowing freely around my feet.

"You- you...! I saw what you two did!" I screamed at her with great force, tightening the wires. I saw the blood dripping down her body. I immediately released her and ran into the darkness, holding back tears.

I ran after him, and grabbed him gently by the hand, turning him back around. "Hughes.... Hughes..." She said softly, wiping away the tears. "First off, I never actually kissed him. Did you ever see my right hand? I covered his mouth by the right hand, so I had to distract him from getting out of the Star Clan. " She said softly, squeezing his hand. "I wouldn't betray you like that."

"But he... HE KISSED YOU!" I roared. I dropped to my knees.

I knelt next to him, and smiled, gently brushing his hair from his eyes, making him look up at me. "Hughes, baby, please. He probably never knew. I never kissed him back. I promise, baby." She soothed him, kneeling in front of him, wrapping her arms around him.

I broke out of her hug, tears streaming down my face. "I'll kill him... I swear I'll kill him!" I declared.

"Hughes, baby please!" I pleaded, wiping away his tears. "Don't do that. That won't make things any better..." I comforted him, and stood him still. "Baby, please! I... I don't think you would be able to, when he's trying to leave the Star Clan. They're going to kill him either way. Baby, I promise. I will be yours forever and always." She declared too, looking at him with determined golden green eyes.

"Why... why did you let him do it? Why would betray me like that?" I questioned, waterfalls down pouring from my eyes.

I started to cry too, and I tried to reach for him, but instead whipped out a knife, holding it to my neck. "I was forced into it, Hughes, but I know you'll never trust me, let alone love me. I'm sorry baby." I whispered, and a trail of blood started from the blade's tip, rolling down my neck.

OOC: Did you take out your own knife and put it to your own neck?

OOC: yup.... I felt as if he would never forgive me.

"No! Don't!" I grab hold of the knife and tried to pull it away from her neck.

"Why not?! You'll never forgive me, Hughes!! I love you, ok!! I don't ever want to leave you, and I want you to be my weapon for as long as I live! I want to be by your side to protect you, and you for me!" I blurted, and blushed madly, tears coming back as I looked down.

I grabbed her and I passionately kissed her. "I love you..." I whispered in her ear.

I blushed madly, kissing him back just as passionately. "I love you too, baby." I whispered back.

I felt a jolt between our souls. A link. Our souls connected, and then I saw here emotions. "I'm sorry... I'm so so sorry..." I apologized, after seeing her scarred soul.

"It's ok, baby. I have you. That is what matters to me." She says back, and smiles, gently kissing him again, snuggling into his chest.
