A walk with a 'friend'

I waited patiently outside of Chupacabra's for Deeek, and was forced into a silver blouse that complimented her hair and eyes, and she noticed that it was all lace in the back, much to her protest. She saw someone, and smiled, stuffing her hands in her black pockets of her jeans.

"Hey..." She smiled at him, shyly and her white hair floated around her. She tentatively took his hand, and leaned on his shoulder. "How are you?"

"Sorry." She said quietly, dropping his hand like it was fire. He wouldn't like me like that.... no one would. No one could. I'm too... She couldn't bring herself to think of it like that. She only smiled, and tried to say something but only made a thumbs up, looking down.

"Hm? Oh, um, nothing!" She laughs, and twirls her white hair under a finger, and looks up at him. "Um.. D-Derek...? Did you... did you actually mean what you said.... earlier? About.. l-liking... m-me?" She stammered, blushing more.

*Smiles and puts his hands on her shoulders

She blushed more, and looked at him with big eyes. "Which way... t-though...?" She asked, and cursed herself for being so forward.

She blushed madly, and smiled, pecking his cheek softly. "I do too." She said softly, and smiled.

She smiles, and starts to walk, her hair blowing so it tickles him lightly. "So, how did you know Caroline?" She asked with a small smile.

"I met her for the first time at this party"

She smiles at him, and laughs. "I met her for the first time... well... a long time ago. I was on the run from a Kishan Egg, and she was... I think around.... 9? I dunno. I was 7, I know that. It was about to kill me, but when it reached out for me, it stopped, grew rigid, and fell ontop of me." She stopped, and laughed again. "Caroline had killed him with a glass shard. It really was awesome to see... Then, she only smashed the soul to bits, because at the time, she didn't have a weapon, and she told me that if I ever need her... I blow this whistle..." She fumbled with it, and brought it out. It was a cold ice, that was laced with warmth, that didn't melt it though. "She always protected me then, ever since. I love her... she's like my sister."

She rolls her eyes, and smiles. "No, silly. She thinks the opposite of herself, sadly..." She said quietly, remembering the horrid day she found her drenched in her own blood, her figure shaking. "She's scarred. Very, very scarred. She... she probably doesn't know what to do, like the rest of us."

She tentatively stops him, hugging him around the waist. "It'll get better. I promise." She said softly, and tried to smile, her head buried in his chest.
