A touch of elegance

Paulette gets out of her limo, she started walking towards the huge building, sending her soul wavelenght to the floor through her feet and using it as a radar to detect souls and not crash onto anyone. A tall, middle-aged butler chased after her "Madame, madame!" He called "You can't go around like this, you can get hurt!"

The girl had long blond hair, skinny figure and an average height, she seemed completely normal except for one thing. Her eyes were crystal blue, but not any normal blue, the type of blue that tells you that person can't see. She turned her blind eyes to him and spoke in a rather cold tone "If I wanted to be bossed around and treated like a baby, I would have stayed home. Now please go unpack my stuff in the apartment or something." She shooed the man and started walking once again.

She could hear voices, male and female meisters and weapons laughing, joking and discussing. It seemed like a nice place, not the type of place she was used to, it somehow lacked elegance, but it still seemed like a really fun place to be in. She smiled to herself as she continued walking through the crowded halls of her new school.

A death scythe Leke was standing near the door to the academy. He was looking at the sky, smiling. Probably nothing could destroy this beautiful day...But then something exploded near him. When the death scythe turned his head to see what happened, he saw a blonde haired girl that was wearing a black dress and a black eye patch on her right eye. Her left eye was blue. Well it was Madeline, a witch, meister and a half-demon. She accidentally made a magic ball that has exploded. "Damn witches..." Leke mumbled.

Rushing to the explosion and seeing Madeline standing there, "Damn it Madeline, what were you doing?" Veyas was practically yelling through his facemask, but before she could respond he sniffed the air, smelling the new girl, he walked over. "New-blood, weapon or meister?"

Paulette couldn't help but flinch at the sound of an explosion. "What the..." She trailed off. Common sense would have told her to go on and continue exploring the school, but her particular curiosity pushed her to go wherever the sound came from.

As she walked over, she could sense some souls, which just walked normally like nothing had happened. Could it be her imagination playing tricks on her? Maybe the excitement of being in a new place made we imagine the sound.

Not long after that, she heard people talking. She could eat the conversation from a distance, something about blood. She approached them and introduced herself "Bonjour, my name is Paulette" she spoke in her highly noticeable French accent "Was I the only one who heard an explosion?"

[Mr.Raccoon]

"Sorry! It was my fault! I was playing with my magic and...." Madeline said a little ashamed, but she couldn't finish because Leke walked over to her and said "Then don't do it, okay?" The death scythe said

Then he looked at a new student "Nice to meet you. Me name is Leke Vidic and I'm a death scythe." He said. Then the death weapon pointed at the witch "That witch next to me is Madeline." Leke said. Then he pointed at Veyas "Aaaaannnd...!" The death scythe gave Veyas a signal to introduce himself

Hearing a exposition outside he may as well go check if anyone is hurt. Kneeling to the ground waving his hand along floor. Tearing a dimensional rift between the floor he stood on and the ground along the academy roof. Crawling out onto the top of academy trying to locate the source of the explosion. He seen Madeline and Veyas with a new student.

OOC: before I post, is Madeline using soul protect?

OOC: I do not believe so, we all know she is a witch and Shinigami-sama (Lord Death) has approved her being here. Since Raccoon is not here, and this just happened we will assume not if thats ok with you. If not we can correct it later

Paulette smiled at them "Nice to meet you everyone." However, she was slightly curious about the witch. She had heard the school was meant to kill witches, anyways, she brushed those thoughts off.

"Um, do any of you know how to get to Crescent Moon class...?" She asked rather shyly, she also wondered why they hadn't noticed her disability, her eyes gave it away, in her opinion.

Using the same technique he did to get on the roof. He dragged himself up onto the ground. Walking out in front of the school. Hoping as to not scare the new student with his magic. He didn't like being scared of.

Madeline pointed at Leke "The death scythe knows!" She said with a smile.

Leke nodded "You were in that class too.." He said almost emotionless.

Then Madeline noticed something as she looked at Paulette's eyes. "Oh..You're..no no no I'm sorry!" The witch said then she put her hand on her eye patch. Her smile disappeared. It was sad for her. So the new student is blind, huh? She thought to herself.

Suddenly she sensed a soul of her..um..Ally? Friend? The witch turned her head to him and looked at his eyes "Hi..Espa"


Note: At the beginning Madeline was a normal meister (She was my second character on this site). But I couldn't find a weapon for her so I've turned her into a witch. And a few days ago she also became a half-demon. Also on this site almost every good witch can work for the academy. (Me and Arc Guander started this, because our witches were good.)

His face was empty as he smiled and gave her a bow. He didn't speak unless he had to. He had other ways of communication with people. " Madeline can you tell your mother my Elysa can now walk on his own; when you get home after school? " Looking at Veyas he seemed more stable then before. His attention soon drifted to the new student that he noticed was blind.

"New-blood, whats your name, and are you meister or weapon?" Veyas asked, not friendly but like one just seeking for knowledge. Still not noticing her blindness.

Paulette raised an eyebrow "Sorry?" She asked "Sorry for what?" She was slightly offended, but she brushed it off. It's not like they know she doesn't like people pitying her, since the witch and her just met. She sensed a new soul with them, but the new person wasn't talking to her so she didn't pay attention.

She turned her attention towards Veya, who didn't sound friendly at all "Woah, rood (rude)" she spoke in her French accent "Is that how you make friends in America? Anyways, my name is Paulette and I'm a mei... Meister." She struggled a little with the word 'meister' due to her accent, but managed to say it anyways.

"Not rude, information seeking." Veyas said with a grin beneath his face mask. "So then you're a meister. Rich from your scent. What brought you here, the thrill of adventure, or just wanting to fight a kishin?" His red eyes finally laying on her blue ones, he thought to himself "Hmph, opposite of my eyes, looks like most of the blind peoples. Wonder if she is."

Paulette softly glared at the boy "And why do you need to know that?" Paulette stubbornly said speaking her mind "Are you planning to find something between my answers to black mail me?" She said as flashbacks of her parents telling her to be cautious of what she told to people when she was little appeared on her mind.

"No, I never have intent of that, I'm just naturally curious. Though you showed me you have much distrust, most see that as friendly conversation, but you you got defensive. So much behind that face... all the more to find." Veyas spoke in a way, almost like old stein when he spoke of dissecting things, but instead of with scalpels and scissors with words, and careful exploration. "But enough with scaring you, we need to find your class dont we? Leke, you can help with this can you not?"

OOC: If I dont respond tonight I more than likely crashed, I've been up for 39 hours and have been doing work all day. I'll make sure I respond tomorrow though if I do crash

Madeline didn't know why she did it but she took off her eye patch, showing her dark blue eye, of course, that caused pain, but she ignored it. "Ooh..Veyas is just curious." She said. "And I said sorry because..um..no nevermind" The witch did want to say anything about Paulette's eyes, because she thought that it would make her feel sad.

Leke nodded "Yeah okay! To Class crescend moon we go!" The death scythe said as he pointed at the sky. Then he chuckled a little.

"A little dramatic there much, Leke?" Asked Veyas, laughing a little to himself.

Paulette scoffed at Veyas before turning to Madeline "Oh, alright." She said, then heard Leke saying they were going to her class, however, her eyes didn't follow his finger, since she couldn't see it. She then wondered why was Veyas calling him dramatic.

Deciding he should just stretch as his wolf self, Veyas decides nows a good of time any, ducks into an area out of sight. And comes back out as his dire gray wolf self (fire pretty much means I'm really big {can't think of the exact size} big enough people can ride). And returns over to the group.

Madeline looked at Veyas. "Uhm...You big." She said (I wrote you big on purpose) "Okaaay..Let's go to your class, lady Paulette."

"Follow me!" The death scythe said with a smile on his face then he whispered to Veyas "Don't let our new student get lost". Then the Death scythe started walking towards the academy
