"But... turn around." I point to where the portal was but now it is just a stone sculpture, lacking the actual portal. A low grumbling emanated from the deep abyss, and a gust of wind picked up, my shredded clothes swaying in the breeze. "He knows we are here. There has to be another portal though. Thats how all of those kishin eggs got through. You see... this is the Kishin World..."

I jump down from where I was, landing on the staircase. "There's no one here for me... I doubt there is anyone for me. It's because there is no one on the planet that can resonate with my soul. Thats the curse of having my power..." I stare into the abyss, as if it was my soul.

I give a light smirk. Clearly we were going through that awkward transition from a serious topic to a normal one.
"Wait." I hold up a finger signaling him to keep his voice down. "Do your hear that?" I was referring to the deep voice echoing through the abyss.

When we reached the bottom only the sound of water dropping echoed through the caves and tunnels that were implanted everywhere int his world. No light was there to guide the way. I made a fist and let fire grow around it. I used it as a torch. "Now what? Where do we go?" I asked.
